Description
A career in violin making may have seen the likes of Johann Sebastian Bach soar to the same heights as the italian masters, this is simply a meditation. Perhaps the melting pot of makers in Italy during the Baroque Period that saw the luthiers Guarneri, Goffriller, Ruggieri and Stradivari set the benchmark for quality stringed instruments – was a part of the same wave of influence that inspired Bach’s musical output of the 1720s, including the sets of six suites he wrote for solo violin and cello, respectively.
